Should I do Jack Westin CARS Daily?
The short answer is YES! I think it’s amazing for getting daily practice in. They present a very similar passage to what I saw on MCAT day and it simulates the testing experience every morning. Unlike many of the other sections, CARS is more of a practice thing. There is no anki deck for it and there is no concrete way to study. Therefore, you need to practice and get used to all the different versions of passages and how they ask their questions!

Jack Westin is a professional 3rd party website that has really worked hard these past couple of years to offer amazing resources. A lot of what they do is free, which is absolutely great. They have some paid stuff too including question banks, practice MCAT’s, and an in-depth content review system. You don’t need the paid features, but just so you know.
The CARS sections on their website are really just one passage per day that gets posted. Usually there are 3-5 questions that go with it. Now, the nice thing is that there are multiple years of back logged questions you can do. So, you can do more than just the 1 a day and instead opt for 2-4 a day. This is what I recommend as you approach test day. There is usually a video explanation that comes out later that day that walks you through the passage and questions, which can be really helpful.

Now, they seem to have a series of free practice CARS sections which is the entire section of multiple passages. I have not personally done these, but if they are like the free passages, it can be great for building test stamina, an important concept you’ll have to work on.
